Spring is in bloom on the Pilica river, butterflies are flocking in,
It’s not only the children who are happy, the alpacas from Chile are thrilled too.
Our herd of these charming furry creatures flew in from South America,
they chose Sielanka as their new home, much to the delight of our young guests.
They enjoy watching the sport horses show jumping in the arena,
but feel most comfortable in the wooden house, in the company of the goat and sheep.
The highlight of their day is feeding time
and a visit from the young guests! At the back of the stables, in a quiet spot close to the river, we have built our Mini Zoo, which is quite the attraction for families with young children. You can see live farm animals and domesticated alpacas from the faraway Chile. The information boards at their enclosure provide some interesting facts about their likes and dislikes, and during the weekend's kids' clubs the children can learn more about caring for the animals, under the supervision of the keepers.
